The hustle has gotten us to Japan finally. There were bumps here and there but we've made it to Tokyo in one piece for the most part. Turns out that drinks were free on international flights... so to say the least we were pretty taxed by the time we landed last night!
Packing boards takes us back to the "good old days" when we were groms and that was our job. It looks about as fun as it is. :) Pretty much all the money we have packed into big brown boxes heading for Narita International Airport.
Hawaiian recently started flying to Japan, the plane was only 50% full. We had entire rows of seats to lay out on after we finally tired out.
Waking up this morning in Tokyo. It's so quiet and peaceful. No one running weed blowers or lawn mowers... there is a stillness to the town this morning that is very pleasant.
This morning started early, by 9:45 we were at the Heather Brown gallery putting up our installment.
We're so used to seeing the boards and art in our shop- we're almost numb to it... Welzie covers everything around him in his work, so it's just the same old thing to us. Seeing it taken out of the shop and hung on the walls of a gallery is always a treat. Here's everything setup...
